DRIVING PLEASURE

No noise, no vibration, cleverly designed sound insulation from the road and the outside world, thanks particularly to laminated front and rear windows. On board New Citroën C5 X Plug-in Hybrid, the driving experience achieves optimal comfort and silence.

The engine and electric motor combine seamlessly to ensure that the car moves off smoothly. The fast and efficient ë-EAT8 electric automatic gearbox enhances driving pleasure seamlessly delivering 360 Nm of on-demand torque.

FOUR DRIVING MODES

The e-toggle switch on the centre console allows you to select the driving mode: Electric, Hybrid, Comfort or Sport. Control of the Citroën Advanced Comfort® Active Suspension continuously adapts to each driving mode. 

Electric: The car has a driving range of up to 31 miles (WLTP cycle), suitable for most users’ daily journeys. All representing distance travelled without consuming fuel. 

Hybrid: The vehicle manages the electric motor and petrol engine automatically for optimum efficiency. 

Comfort: Based on Hybrid mode, this driving mode offers additional flexibility thanks to Citroën Advanced Comfort® Active Suspension. 

Sport: C5 X Plug-in Hybrid offers dynamic performance thanks to the electric motor, which boosts the petrol engine for combined power of 225 hp. Citroën Advanced Comfort® Active Suspension is optimised for better road-holding.

SIMPLE CHARGING

New Citroën C5 X Plug-in Hybrid is characterised by its very easy charging:

• The charging cables are stored in a dedicated space under the boot floor.
• The charging hatch, located to the rear left of the car, includes an LED indicator to track the charging process, which can also be viewed remotely on the MyCitroën app.
• When the car is travelling in electric mode, a blue indicator light comes on under the central rear-view mirror, clearly visible from the outside, for city centres with restricted access.
• Charging can be programmed from the touchscreen or the MyCitroën app, to take advantage of off-peak electricity tariffs (where available).

New C5 X is a unique combination of the elegance of a saloon, the dynamism of an estate car and the elevated driving position of an SUV. It is available in plug-in hybrid and petrol versions. You choose!
