The Eclipse is Coming

Wilmoths at Winchester are excited to announce that they are now taking enquiries relating to the brand new Eclipse Cross, which will be coming to showrooms from early 2018.

The Eclipse Cross is a mid-size SUV comparable in size to the Kuga and Qashqai, and has options to include an electronically-controlled 4 wheel drive system that Mitsubishi call Super-All Wheel Control that can control the driving forces on all four wheels and will send power automatically to wherever it's needed.

The Eclipse Cross has 2 engine choices; a new 1.5 litre direct-injection turbo petrol with an 8 speed manual override, or a 2.2 litre turbo diesel with an 8 speed automatic transmission.

In the cabin there is a simple to use centre console touch-pad controller with a 7 inch display with Smartphone Link Display Audio system, which supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

There will be 3 trim levels:

  • Entry-level will be the Eclipse Cross 2 with standard kit such as touch-pad controls, LED lights, air conditioning and cruise control.
  • Eclipse Cross 3 comes with the option of four-wheel drive and an automatic CVT (continuously variable transmission) gearbox. A head-up display, 18 inch alloy wheels, heated front seats, keyless entry and start, as well as parking sensors front and rear.
  • Eclipse Cross 4 features leather trim, a premium sound system and a large range of driver aids. Blind Spot Warning, Lane Change Assist and, in automatic models, Adaptive Cruise Control.

Coming to the UK will be 250 special First Edition cars based on the Eclipse Cross 4 but with exclusive features such as a premium paint finish, carbon-finish bumper and First Edition badging across the vehicle.

Register your interest now to be one of the earliest to view and test drive a new Eclipse Cross at our Bar End showroom in Winchester. We will contact you as soon as the car is available in early 2018!
